Safety Arm

This is the contact arm that has to be pressed against the surface that you are working on before the trigger can function. This feature ensures that the tool is not accidentally fired before the tool is correctly in position against the work surface.

No Marr Tip

The No Marr tip is a removable protective rubber or plastic fitting on the end of the safety arm that is designed to stop bruising on the work surface, especially when using soft woods such as pine.
